Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 09, 2008 4:46 pm Dear all,
My sincere apologies for not posting this notification last week. Whilst many of you had fresh questions in your mind surrounding this, we were actively involved in attempting to deal with the matter as best as possible. As a result of a complaint by a relatively new member regarding a particular post, one of the Moderators deleted a members offensive comment - which is common practice. I was made aware of the comments after this time, and I accept the complaint, and agree with the moderator's action of editing the post. In short, a handful of offensive words were deleted and for good reason. It is a member's right of course to further question reason for deletion, or edits in which case he did. If a member wishes to take this further I'm more than happy to listen, and to provide feedback, as I'm always so willing to do. Instead and much to our surprise, this same member returned early the following morning to edit out hundreds of posts leaving gaping holes in discussions many of you have participated in, and having many members of the forum community question this action, and the integrity of the Moderators. Based on all of this and as posts were being deleted in the background, I comfortably decided to inactivate his account, given that this member advised he would only be returning to read information at the forum, but will no longer be posting. I hope this is clearer now. Jason To my understanding early saw cuts are to control shrinkage cracks, so doing them now would be pointless. Control joints may reduce ugly cracking during periods of soil… 3 9831 Hey guys building a new place through a volume builder and just wondering if i should complain to the site supervisor as we just had plasterboard installed.
