Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 27, 2013 7:40 pm We have been in our Beechwood home for about 6 months now, and since the weather has been crappy here in Newcastle our water isn't very hot and since its winter I do like a nice hot shower of a night and morning. The problem is, that we do have gas boosted solar but I cant seem to figure out how to turn on the booster???? we have a blank switch in our ensuite and I am thinking that this could be the switch, but I am unsure on how to tell if it is either on or off ... is there anyway of telling??? Re: No hot water in a new Beechwood Home 3Jun 29, 2013 12:41 pm When you turn you hot water on full you should be able to go to the gass booster and hear the gas burners fired up. If not, most use an electronic ignition to ignite the gass so check that it is plugged into a power point and switched on, also that the gas valve in on as well. Maybe some kids turned it off. Note : also there is a knob with a arrow on it that lets you adjust the tempeture. This just may need a turn.
