Morning,
I am building a double story with Carlisle homes and recently finished my colour selections. I was happy with everything else , but then I am second guessing my splashback colour. Could anybody help me please?
For a better overall picture I am attaching my kitchen layout and overhead cupboard layout below. Only things missing in the picture is the extra kitchen tower with builtin MW next to the fridge space instead of that Void space denoted with big 'V' there. Hope that makes sense.
Now the Colour theme
over head cupboards - 2no. Sandygloss perspex doors and 1 liftup black perspex door with open laminate shelf above
sandygloss perspex door (picture is close enough to the real colour , its almost a cream colour with just a very tiny bit of black tinge in it)
the black lift up door also had the same frame with medium thickness.
splashback colour is "ploughed earth" on clear glass(not starfire), this will go all the way across the wall behind the stovetop and up intill the rangehood as shaded in the kitchen layout picture above.

The kitchen oven is underbench with seperate stove top
c. stone on both benchtop and island is - Ocean Foam
Potdraws on island and underbenchtop and the kitchen tower next to fridge all have laminex silk 'espresso ligna'
the kick plate we originally choose is stainless teel , but now we are almost certain that we are going to have the same laminex for kickboards as well instead of that. We thought stainless steel really stands out, not something we like
our floor tiles are white ceramic with very slight grey tone built into it and with gloss finish.
Hope somebody can advice if all these colours blend in well. I wanted a very classy look to my kitchen. While I am happy with everything else, I am not really so sure of the splashback colour, wondering if it is going to be too dark for the overall theme. Can anybody duggest any other colour that can go well on clear glass preferably. starfire is also fine, I might need to get hubby's permission for extra money, that's it. Manageable enough still
