Screw fix lengths of 20 x 20 angle with the horizontal leg tucked under. Prepaint it first if you can't get the same colour as the fence. BUT we wouldn't be able to do that on the other side of the fence, so the neighbour might get a bit cranky if there's foam bulging out from under the fence. (Albeit they could do the same....)
