My first run through the BASIX certificate gave me a really high 'pass' rating on things like taps, windows, water use etc. By tweaking a lot of of the details I was still able to attain a high pass rate but also give me a lot more flexibility when the time comes to actually deciding on, and ordering materials. I feel it is still a bit too early to lock myself down to certain products and materials. I will not want to lower any of the standards but in all likelihood will want to raise some now I have passed the BASIX report with a lot lower standards. Cheers - minds at ease now!
