Up until now we've had an ADSL2 connection and a wireless router for our internet. So I plug the bugger into the phone line and away I go with our PCs, netbook, laptops, phones, and tablets all happy. We have 200gb and use most of it up each month, so use our devices quite a bit! When we build we'll have NBN (the NBN website already says the service is available on our new street so no waiting times or anything) What I need to know is... WTF do I need to put in the house, electrical wise, for internet usage now?? I see people talking about different kinds of cables and access points and where to put things and I have no comprehension of ANY of it. If you could help me get some kind of basic understanding so I know what to mention at our electrical appointment, I'd be very grateful!
Oh, and if it helps, this is what's in our quote so far (pre-elec appt):
