Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 03, 2013 4:27 pm Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help point me in the right direction - if any direction. We have a weatherboard Californian bungalow with a low 40's fence. We would like to enhance the look of our house by improving the fence for appearance, safety of our kids and stopping dogs entering by adding a wrought iron ballasters on top. BUT our street has a heritage overlay that includes the low, brick 40's fences. Initially we thought a picket and demolishing a small part for a pedestrian entry but we've been told 'no demolishing' by council. Has anyone had any experience or knows of a professional to deal with this? Thanks Kym CDC Housing Code 3 When to apply Floor Area external face of wall vs Gross Floor Area internal face of wall.
