I drilled a 50mm hole in the nogin before the gyprock went up. When we moved in I drilled a 70mm hole behind the wallmounted TV and behind the TV cabinet on the ground. I then fead all the cables down and out the bottom. Its actually very very easy. One thing to consider is are you going to have a 5.1/7.1 surround sound system?? If so how will you get the speaker wire to the back speakers?? I ran the speaker cables before Gyprock! I agree with CuttingEdgeKitchens. Decided before you go putting in wires if you want 5.1 or 7.1. You dont want to be re-running cables months down the track because you didn't put enough speaker points in the house the first time. Apart from that even if the walls are up and in place, it is only a minor thing having to put a small whole in the walls to put the wire though the studs... the conduit would need to be undamaged regardless of what network is in play.
