One of the differences between the sections is that in the cool part there are vents into the double brick walls (the vents then lead outside and also up into the ceiling cavity)? Would these be significantly cooling the house? We are thinking of closing them up due to the dust/insects coming into the house but don’t know what to do if they are helping to keep things cool. Any thoughts?
