Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 04, 2013 10:57 pm Hi all I am in the latter stages of building a double carport 6m x 6m with 600 eaves and a tiled hip roof . I have 4 125mm x 125mm steel posts which are 900 off the boundary but with 600 eaves and then an extra say 100 for the fascia and gutters this leaves roughly 100 to the boundary. I am getting it inspected along the way by a private certifier which is due out again after the tiles are on but am now worried that after nearly 15k and alot of hours of work I could be in a spot of bother , Does anyone know if there is a way of getting the gutters and eaves to encroach on the 450mm boundary minimum ?? ( Internet Research gave me the 450mm for eaves and gutter distance) cheers andrew building modified merlot with terrazza central coast 23 june 2011 - council approved 18 december 2011 - gyprock Re: Carport boundary rules please 2Feb 05, 2013 4:50 am The plans for you carport should have been submited to the council for approval before constuction. If thats all done then they have already appoved the plans including the gutters.
