Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 20, 2013 9:20 am Hi, I recently connected to Telstra velocity network, and the technician came to install all the necessary equipments, but he told me there should be a cable socket on the wall, in order to connect the network cable, and builder should be responsible for that, I am living in an area where Telstra velocity network is the only option, and builders are all aware of that, so I have a telephone socket and two TV sockets inside the house and loose cables outside near the meterbox for the velocity ONT box, so I believe the builder just forgot the cable socket. Since Telstra is starting to charge me, I need it as soon as possible, I told my builder about this and they said electricians will contact me soon, but no message after then. My friend told me I can tell the builder to pay the internet bill, but I don't believe the builder is kind enough to accept it, so at the meantime, should I pay for someone to install it, or wait for the builder, or even tell the builder to pay the bill, is there any legal reference to support this? Thanks Can someone please offer some advice? Im DESPERATE. Because I'm completely and utterly exhausted. How long are variations taking with other companies at the moment?
