Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 17, 2013 3:12 am Hi everyone, We have almost completed our new home in Aubin Grove (SOR) and I am looking for a carpenter to install our skirting boards. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance Re: Carpenter for skirting boards - Perth 2Jan 18, 2013 1:40 pm We used the company that was recommended by our timber floor installer. He worked quickly and provided good quality work and was careful with our new wooden floors. I believe he can also supply the skirtings for you - but we decided on a different style so purchased the skirts ourselves (from Subiaco Restoration - lambs tongue - 140mm high). Purchasing them ourselves allowed us to give them two coats of enamel before they were installed which meant we only had to do one coat when they were on the wall - lifesaver! We were happy with the result. Just a note though, the quotes provided don't include patching/filling of nail holes, so you will need to do that yourself unless you get that included in the cost. http://novafloortrims.com.au/ Building Standards; Getting It Right!
