If your after a lockable key set, then this is the system to use. You can get a passage set for general passage operation. This handle features a turn handle both sides of the door, same as you would have on a normal passage or bedroom door. But if it's just a privacy set you need to an en suite for example, your handle will have a turn handle on the inside, with an emergency release on the outside. The strike plate on privacy set is recessed back with a lip and the barrel for the lock will hook over the lip to lock the door.
