They're made from pine/fir, and so are both the floor and cladding on the inside. Now, of course, one technically could have the glulam trusses made from (Scandinavian) oak, and have the 50cm wide (Scan) oak floorboards and wall cladding from Dinesen (dinesen.com - a Danish firm). However, with that much wood, it would most likely double the price of what would not exactly be a cheap house. But fir/pine or some lightcoloured similar wood gotten from within Australia, and in not too wide planks/boards, should keep the price down somewhat - relatively speaking. I contemplated using (slit) birch plywood with rockwool batting behind to act as acoustic panels, and then I thought, how about gypsum panels, but as the entire roof/wall curves, and gypsum panels weigh a tonne and are definately not bendable,, the most practical really is planks. yep sounds good make the footing bigger to to allow for the pipe in the middle 3 7320 Hi When it rains in a particular direction water comes through the security door.
