This will be a terrific estate, I'm really looking forward to seeing it take shape as more and more houses fill it up.
I personally designed one of the display homes currently under construction - can't wait until it's finished.
Cheers,
Si.

So I assume stage 9 will receive a similar delay. This is due to stage 10 infrastructure being started early along with the other 'Waters Precinct' stages. (1-6) Re: Armstrong Mt Duneed -- Owners forum 46Jul 17, 2014 11:55 am Hi everyone, has anyone heard of a one off $900 that we need to pay to council before we can build? It's a contribution fee to the development, normally paid by the developer but in this case we're paying for it. Really annoyed with this!!! Re: Armstrong Mt Duneed -- Owners forum 47Jul 17, 2014 6:57 pm I hadn't heard about that Jules752, thats quite annoying, we already have enough to pay for! I'm sure most of you have seen this but a new construction update popped up on the website today: "In the Waters Precinct the focus through autumn and early winter has been the completion of subdivision in Stages 1 through 6, together with planting of street trees and landscaping of parks. Construction of the Armstrong Display Village has also gathered pace as Villawood and display builders prepare for the opening of the village this spring. The Villawood management team is closely monitoring display home construction so that customers on the east side of Arcadia Drive can settle their blocks as soon as possible. Subdivision construction is taking place on Stages 7 to 11. Stage 7 includes a new wetland, major drainage, sewer and water services along Sovereign Drive. This stage is the foundation for many future stages including Stages 8 and 9. The wetland and much of the major services are now complete. If ground and weather conditions allow, these three stages will be finished in late November / early December 2014. Construction of Golden Wattle Drive will deliver Stages 10 and 11 in early spring and early summer of 2014. Stage 10 has been built very quickly and titles are expected to be available in September. If weather conditions allow Stage 11 will be completed in November 2014." So much for the October completion for Stage 11 that we were told. I just want my house! Re: Armstrong Mt Duneed -- Owners forum 48Jul 18, 2014 10:34 am Hi all, we have bought in Stage 8 and also have been told December for titling.. We are organising with our builder now to hopefully get started as soon as we can. Just curious how people have been going with soil / site fees for these areas. I have heard of some very hefty prices due to the amount of fill used throughout even though the land was 'flat...on a runway etc' They wanted the estate to be flat all over so there are some areas that will have 'P' class testing meaning Poor site areas so costs will be a bit more than people budgeted for. Any feedback please... Every day above ground is a good day Re: Armstrong Mt Duneed -- Owners forum 49Jul 29, 2014 8:14 pm Just settled on fixed site costs (land was ok and not classed as 'P' so that's a bonus) and so far stage 8 is settling in December still so all is going to plan.... Every day above ground is a good day Re: Armstrong Mt Duneed -- Owners forum 50Sep 16, 2014 11:49 am Still waiting for stage 8 as above ^. Stage 10 have apparently received notice of titles within the next week or two. Fingers crossed for an early december title so some work can be started before the christmas period! Re: Armstrong Mt Duneed -- Owners forum 57Jan 30, 2015 8:38 pm Hi We have just purchased a bock in stage 8 and have been told titles will be coming very soon - so very excited! We have decided to build with Burbank, and are going through the colour selections process at the moment, finalising plans and hopefully will have the contract finalised at the same time as land titles! Looking forward to getting to know you and been part of the community! We bought a resale block - original owners couldn't go through with contract so we took over. We were looking at current releases but when this block came up, with titles so soon, we jumped at it! Congrats on your block titling! So exciting! !
