Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 25, 2012 2:59 pm Hey guys, I've just purchased my first home and was hoping to open up the lounge room a little by removing a couple of walls. They are not load bearing to the best of my knowledge, don't contain any electrical wiring, however one does have a small gas heater on it. They are both standard height and a maximum of around 4m in length (total) is what i would be looking at removing. Is there any chance you could give me a ballpark on what i would be looking at for removal and re-plastering? I know this is likely to be difficult, however i am just trying to put together a vague costing until i can get some quoting done after settlement once i have the keys. I'm amazed at how they can remove things like that.
