Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 18, 2012 1:28 pm Hi everyone, My partner and I are about to start a major renovation on a new house which we need to move out for the entire 6 week job in Sydneys lower north shore. The problem is we have yet to find somewhere that can accommodate us & our dog. If we find a furnished, pet friendly apartment, it is a minimum of 6 months. If we find a short term rental, they don't allow dogs. We've looked at rentals, servied apartments and holiday lets. We are at our wits end and are incredibly lucky that our start date has been pushed back by two weeks or we would be living in our car Has anyone else had this problem? How did you get around it? Re: Finding housing during renovation 2Oct 18, 2012 8:00 pm Have you considered a kennel for the dogs for six weeks? Or a pet minding service to go to your existing house if you have a secure area for the dog. Or a friend to look after them, We are looking to knockdown and rebuild our place and are not looking forward to finding a rental for 8 months that will take our two dogs. Hi All, see above image.
