If you mean Sliding Door Robes here are some sizes that we use - Shelving Depth 445mm. Top Shelf Height up from floor is 2000mm Standard Drawer and Shelf Units come in three sizes - A) 608mm overall. Shelf size to suit is 576mm. Drawer size to suit is 550mm B) 508mm overall. Shelf size to suit is 476mm. Drawer size to suit is 450mm C) 458mm overall. Shelf size to suit is 426mm. Drawer size to suit is 400mm Hanging Rails should not exceed 1200mm wide unsupported. All internal shelving is 16mm Melamine. Check out this website to get a basic idea of configurations - http://www.imagerobes.com.au/ Hinged Door Robes have different standards as do walk in robes. Hope the above gives you a general idea. Rocket. Re: standard dimensions for internal of wardrobes... 3Sep 29, 2012 12:41 am Hi chatterbox! I try to keep my hanging rails under a metre long, just so they don't sag. The best way of making sure you have enough width for hanging is to take your widest coat hanger, put your clothes on it and measure the width. . . then add a bit for clearance from the wall. . . then, if you're going to have a door on the wardrobe, add a bit more still (maybe a couple of cm each side). What we have done in a few theatres ( including my own) is run 2 layers of 13mm gyprock, but sounds insulation especially for the bass is really tricky as a lot of that… 4 2550 Thanks. Yeh ideally that would have been good, but have progressed too far now. Hoping some well placed internal walls fixed up into the battens will provide some… 2 5393 Thank you alexp79 and gommeqld for your advice, that's very helpful, thanks 3 7902 |
