Im not 100% sure.. I have signed paper work with PD to have the gas transfered over when we settle. PD have said they have paperwork for us to sign for the electricity the day we sign our settlement papers. So I guess thats it for us. As for the phone :roll:

Bernard is in control of that one, as he is planning our internet / phone etc.. Maybe call your sales rep & confirm it..

Yep. will be nice - but I'm still can't find place where they will put this walking bridge there ... anyway - we need lot of trees on the highway green streep just to cut the background road noise (this small fence from MW is juast a half problem solution).

JoBen - According to the telephone connection - we also have the trench from our builder included in our contract, but we received also from our builder offer about telephone socket installation in house (third party company from knox - we go with them), so now they take all responsibility for our phone connection.

That was for one side of the fence, not the other or the back :shock:

Gavin,

I have a question for you since you already have your fence up. How did you go about organising the payment for the other half of your fence that would be owned by someone building in Stage 3?

We are wanting to get our fence put up when we move in (looking at around mid October) but hoping we don't have any problems with this, as next door neighbour on right hand side hasn't started building yet and Paul can't get in contact with them and neighbours at the back haven't even settled on land yet.

I can just see us not getting our fencing done for months after we move in........it shouldn't be this difficult.

Gavin,

We just paid in full for the side fencing to the land that has not been released as yet.... Then when someone buys the land we will send them a copy of the invoice and they will pay half..... If they don't I will forward to the fencing tribune and let them sor it out..... But I hope ot doesn't go down that way....

Hi guys... I haven't done anything as yet..... as there is more than enough on my plate at pleasant.... :cry:

I will be venturing down this path around Feb..... and with all that the city of casey has got going on at the moment, with the Brookland Greens debarcle, I am kind of glad I am not approaching them at the moment.....

can't even go there- jsut be upfront goodness why is it so hard :lol:

we are freaking out beacuse we can't move in until the back fence is done- it's the same friggin design as the rest of the fence.

it's the back fence that goes along the hwy. i would just be to scared with our son not that we would be oing outside heaps cause of all the mud but still theyneed to get there act together.

Do you think that this will be enought? Not only mud is a problem ... noise also. Usually "road noise screens" are much bigger and made from solid timber or concrete. But I'm not sure this should be issue for VicRoads or City of Casey or MW.

Really the most paceful and relaxing place at your lot should be the backyard... so it's worth to check how you can save this place from noise.

Arek has got me thinking...

What they meant to be doing with the western port hwy... Trees (big ones) enbankment of some sort.. Like what Sandhurst have along Thompsons road would be great..

The road noise hopefully wont bother us too much as there are several house between us & the hwy.
