Our Build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=29127 Re: Marriott Waters release --> Info / update center 1478Sep 28, 2012 1:42 pm yes, my house as well is .. you will need to call opticomm and they will send you a checklist that has to be signed by the company who did the fibre cabling inside the house (in our case Argus)..SS can help with that. Once the checklist is ready you can either call and pay $550 connection fee and wait untill its ready or you can just wait untill they advertise that it is ready in marriot waters and pay your $550...but then others might go agead of you. There is no date for it go live yet as it is marked under consturction but from marriot waters online website they mentioned may be October. Re: Marriott Waters release --> Info / update center 1479Sep 30, 2012 8:53 pm saj Anybody have/had both the 'NBN Ready' package and 'Opticomm' package included, just to future proof your home when NBN rollout in the estate? Ummmm NBN don't rollout in this estate. It's a greenfields estate, NBN don't do greenfield estates. Opticomm are the ones. Opticomm have completed the installation of fibre throughout the Marriott Waters community and we expect that optic fibre should now be available for residents in October. Residents will be contacted by Opticomm once there is certainty on a fibre “live” date. Unfortunately there has been a delay in locating the optic fibre cabinet and connection of electricity which is currently being resolved. It is expected that registered residents will now be contacted over the next couple of weeks. If you have any queries regarding this process please contact the Opticomm Call Centre on 1300 137 800. |
