Hallam Fencing pops up on most posts and blogs from people building either in MW or near by. Has anyone used them and what did you think and what do they charge? Or Have you used another company and what did they charge? Hallam Fencing pops up on most posts and blogs from people building either in MW or near by. Has anyone used them and what did you think and what do they charge? Or Have you used another company and what did they charge? We used Hallam and were happy with them, but I read in someone else's thread that they are booked out for a while. I also heard that Jim's fencing is very reasonable so maybe give them a call? I'm also interested in any feedback on the Casey council meeting? Re: Marriott Waters release --> Info / update center 1134Jul 14, 2010 4:11 pm If you can handle going through Tel$tra, they have ports avail. for ADSL2+ with some very decent speeds. They released new plans last week which make the costs a bit more feasible. ---------------------------------------- Building the PD Lisbon 24 http://www.porterdavis.com.au/#homeviewer/lisbon/24 Blog of our progress. http://lisbon24.blogspot.com/ Homeone build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=28665 Re: Marriott Waters release --> Info / update center 1135Jul 14, 2010 6:04 pm TimmyDunlop If you can handle going through Tel$tra, they have ports avail. for ADSL2+ with some very decent speeds. Re: Marriott Waters release --> Info / update center 1136Jul 14, 2010 6:19 pm what about on the LYNH086 mux cabinets - no ports there mate. I'm talking about the slightly older side not marriott waters Re: Marriott Waters release --> Info / update center 1137Jul 14, 2010 9:32 pm TimmyDunlop If you can handle going through Tel$tra, they have ports avail. for ADSL2+ with some very decent speeds. I find Telstra too expensive, and for where we are, I can only get ADSL1 (1500) - think it's cause of the RIM.....damn, why didn't Villawood choose to have US as the NBN guinea pigs instead of Alamanda ? Getting connected to TPG by week's end, VOIP as well - now we just need to get into the house (long story, we'll be updating our thread in due course) Re: Marriott Waters release --> Info / update center 1138Jul 15, 2010 9:30 am paul.jason TimmyDunlop If you can handle going through Tel$tra, they have ports avail. for ADSL2+ with some very decent speeds. There are a couple of threads on the MW site that people have updated in the last week or 2 on what is now available. I can't recall what the titles of the threads are, you may have to do a search. I hope TPG are available. There are no spare ports on LYNH086 I find myself constantly re applying on internode , and have done this since start of the year , still with no success. Telstra infrastructure fail to you! With 6GB available on my 3G 3 "Bangalore Special" Internet costing $39 and at times its woefully slow, and drops out sporadically. Not to mention it chews the laptop battery quickly and is an obstruction hanging out the side of laptop! An email from TPG has connected us up as of yesterday on the 1500/256 120 gig plan Shame I can't get into the house to actually test it and use it, but i'd rather have it running when we move in than wait for it. The alternatives were AAPT (ADSL1, unlimited - which I might churn to if i need the gigs), Internode, iiNet and iPrimus - they are the only ones who can do ADSL2+ (Zone1) - no uploads counted, but also have not the greatest value for what I want (80 gigs on peak, 220 gigs off - i'm not going to use that much !, for $130/month before bundling). Anything to stop using this damn Vodafone 3G stick - it's expensive. |
