Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 12, 2012 9:47 pm Hi, i have a situation with a lockwood door lock where the door can be opened from the outside with a key only. Eg you insert the key and turn it and at the same time the latch retracts and then you can open the door. On the other side of door it just has a door handle where you can turn down the handle and open door from inside of room. It has a lever handle not a knob. Ok so what i want to know is can i disable the key function on the handle so then making it like a standard passage type handle, without having to go out and source a new handle set. Appreciate any help with this. There area lot of variables between manufacturers and even their own models to give you a definitive answer here. Stewie I agree with Althom but there also may be a problem with the terra cotta stormwater pipe discharging water in that areas as well.
