Can you let me know any big (as in size) or impressive display homes you've seen around ? We are after a 280sqm + home. 280sqm = BIG??? We have total area over 300sqm and consider it small/average size. Re: Perth - Big & Impressive Display Home? 7Sep 09, 2012 9:39 pm When you say 280sqm are you referring to total size or just living areas?? If you are looking for houses with more than 280sqm of living your best bet would be to go to display villages in areas with big blocks. Now that's impressive - love it!! Well I suppose 280sqm was pretty conservative really. So just in living I suppose house must be at least 300sqm. Alfresco, garages on top Trying to find a big block south of river - 1200sqm + in Perth is another story (at a reasonable price that is) Re: Perth - Big & Impressive Display Home? 10Sep 10, 2012 12:13 am ELH05 chripark69 Take a look at gemmil homes display in wandi it's massive called the wornum like a resort all on its own. Does anyone know what this property would be to build - std price ? I remember when we went there on the first day when it was open the sales guy didn't have exact price but he said that it was just under 500k. Kitchen alone probably cost about 50k with all the cupboards Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Perth - Big & Impressive Display Home? 11Sep 10, 2012 12:15 am I don't think there are many display homes in Perth that size, mainly because there aren't a lot of blocks for sale big enough to fit them on unless you want to go 2 storey. There are some big blocks (2000sqm +) in areas like Bedfordale and Roleystone. There were also some in Baldivis near the Macadamia Farm but I'm not sure if there are any left. What area SOR are you looking at? My mother has a 1234sqm block in dianella and she always gets notes in the letter box asking her if she wants to sell. I think you need to go up usually now if you want a bigger house and unfortunately in the west everyone wants double brick which pushes the price up even further. good luck ciao mark Perth - Big & Impressive Display Home? 13Sep 10, 2012 5:50 am The standard build for a wornum is $280,000 also australand have some large blocks in their Kalimna development in byford approx 2500 m sq PPA 30/6/12, Land 28/06/12, Contract 7/9/12, Valuation 11/9/12, Prestart 13/9/12, Settlement 18/10/12, Building Permit Issued 18/10/12, Footings 30/10/11, Slab 31/10/11 Re: Perth - Big & Impressive Display Home? 14Sep 10, 2012 7:38 am chripark69 The standard build for a wornum is $280,000 also australand have some large blocks in their Kalimna development in byford approx 2500 m sq Yeah but it doesn't include all these extra high ceilings, stacker doors and other wow factor items. In thd end you'll get a house that doesn't look anything like the display, it will look like any other house. Bet you you won't be able to tell a difference between that one and homebuyer centre one. Perth - Big & Impressive Display Home? 16Sep 10, 2012 11:25 am I understand that but I thought the post asked for a price that was standard, the display version is just over 500k and that show house has just been sold on a lease back deal for $1.4m so the rep was saying.
