Always more cost effective to keep wet areas together. That said, I'd also seriously take into consideration where your hot water service is, and how far the pipes new to go to reach the kitchen. Also, there is already hot/cold piping and sewer passing underneath the top right corner so we should be able to tap into that Our new bathroom is nearly 20m from the hot water service so we know all about waiting for hot water The new kitchen sink location wouldnt be any further away (maybe 1m if that) than the old kitchen sink location so hot water should be ok still tossing up about the pantry in the walk way or whether to recess it back into the study and lose precious room in there This is a very tight fit, I'm not sure if you'll be able to achieve what you've described.
