Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 26, 2012 7:47 pm Hi, I bought a unit that's about 5 years old. Started last year, the tiles started to go all hollow in multiple location of the units. And that continue for another 12 months, the tiles started to crack, covering around 20 tiles in the living room. We are not the only one that is having problem, to my knowledge, there are also 5-6 units in same block(total of 16 units) that have the same problem. One of the contractor admitted it could be due to not waiting long enough for concrete to dry before glueing the tiles. I dont know much in this field, and there seem to be very limited information I can find online. I would like to know whether this is something I can take on the builder/contractor due to poor workmanship? I tried whittles body corporate but they want to have nothing to do with all this. Who can I complain to? Is there any consumer affair assoc that can help me with this? I live in Northern Territory. Thank you so much. Building Standards; Getting It Right! Hi, yes, we have the report. The builder has rectified the items on the report and we’re moving forward with the build.
