Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 17, 2012 1:21 pm Yesterday I had a phone offer from Sanctuary Energy on the Gold Coast. They are offering to install and maintain a solar electric system for 10 years. You have to take them on as your electricuty provider for 10 years. You can opt out after five years but you have to pay $2,000 for the system. If you stay with them for 10 years the system is yours to keep for free. You also have to pay $500 for a smart meter to be installed in your power box. If you pay up front it will only cost $360. You get the benefit of what the solar panels produce plus you get 20% off if you pay your bill on time. Does anyone know about this? Is it as good as it sounds? I surely don't need any more stress in my life!! Re: Sanctuary Energy Offer 2Jul 17, 2012 6:46 pm Why not ask your question on the Whirlpool website in the Green Tech forum which is all about Solar systems and may include other Sanctuary customers.
