So was thinking a project builder but...... we also what a shed (as well as the garage) and the fencing included so thinking we made need a builder. Also i would like to have a little bit of flexabilty in reagrds to suppliers of Kitchen, Tap ware & Carpet ETC. if anuy one has any suggestions in regards to this feel free to let me know. With Eden Brae you have to choose from their suppliers (for kitchen, tapware, carpet, etc...) or not have it done at all. You can still get a fixed contract from a bespoke builder, the price will just be a bit higher. Re: Project Builder V'S A Builder 3Jul 06, 2012 3:23 pm Depends what your budget is, where you are building etc. We built thru a large project builder and there was little to no room for movement once everything was signed in terms of changes. But that doesn't mean all project builders are going to be like this. Yes the smaller builders may be able to change things, allow you to choose everything along the way and erect the garage/shed etc. but this will come at a cost. An option is building your home through a project builder then arranging your shed/fencing etc through other contractors after your build is complete. I was able to change anything at any time and only pay the difference (no markup ). I was very happy with the process.
