I have a septic system that has a high water alarm which consists of a float and a LED light which flashes if the pump fails and the water level gets too high. My problem is that the light flashes once every two minutes. It is doing this even after both the float and the light have been replaced. The pump is working perfectly and the water level is no where near the float level. Would anyone have any idea why it is doing this - it is baffling both my plumber and my electrician.

Thanks. I think I need something that ensures each end is pushed in rather than clamped though. Any ideas for that?
