Looking for 200x75x2400 H3 treated pine for a retaining wall. Need 50 lengths. So far i have Bunnings $11.90 and Harpers Timber and Toongabbie $11.00. Anyone know of any cheaper places? Need Delivery to Rouse Hill. Cheers Re: Cheapest Timber yard in Sydney? 4Mar 18, 2008 4:41 pm Firstly you need H4 for a retaining wall not H3.
That $11.90 price from Bunnings is for a 200x50x2.4m sleeper, not a 200x75 Re: Cheapest Timber yard in Sydney? 5Mar 19, 2008 9:59 am Dukekamaya Firstly you need H4 for a retaining wall not H3. Correct I only found that out when reading thru the website that CM posted up. For anyone interested 'What does H2, H3, H4... Mean?' Dukekamaya That $11.90 price from Bunnings is for a 200x50x2.4m sleeper, not a 200x75 Right again! My mistake, It is the 200x50 that I'm after, at least I know what I meant I've just ordered 45 of them and guess what. I ended up paying $12.95ea Apparently advertising $11 or $11.90 or what ever, doesn't guarantee that they are in stock or able to be delivered before easter. Good ole 'Hudson with an H' at Rouse Hill. Delivery this afternoon or tomorrow morning. Thanks peoples Re: Cheapest Timber yard in Sydney? 6Mar 19, 2008 7:07 pm $12.95 isn't a bad price if they are grade 1 sleepers. We sell them for about that, we also do 2nd grade for $9.90 ea. can someone with more experience give me their insight? land is pretty much flat its pretty much at the top of a hill. left and right neighbours are flat in line with my… 0 7466 2 4385 there should be ss cable so you can pull up bore pump for service 1 3155 |
