Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 19, 2012 7:28 pm I need to make up a quick stand to place a projector on for an event I'm having It will be placed in a projection booth so doesn't matter what it looks like It needs to be 1.5m high and have a flat level top about 50cm x 50cm to place the projector on It has to fit in a fairly small space so the top has to be wider than the legs, but still fairly sturdy I was thinking something like this: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Any tips on how to do this quickly and cheaply? Thinking about the projectors people I know have, you would be able to get away with a plate not much bigger than 20 x 30. Whether you wanted to use some ply and a single post with 3 or 4 legs at the bottom. I'd make it out of scrap steel I could scrounge at work, but I'm cheap.... Well he did say that it does not matter how it looks like as long as it is cheap, so your idea might work. Not sure if he could get the scrap steel and do it himself though. Sorry!
