Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 17, 2012 5:22 pm Hi, Recently completed my advanced diploma in Building design and tech. I have roughly 6 months office experience. Within the years of study I have also worked with builders, bricklayers as well as concreting for a full year. I am 6 months off the requested experience to register as a Building Designer with the RBP. However, I am also hoping to obtain a managerial builders licence. I am very confident with both my building knowledge as well as my drafting abilities. My goal is to design and build for myself. I am aware that insurances need to be in place as well as costs to obtain such licence's. If I try to get my builders licence I can submit my own drawings, if so what steps should I be taking next. can I avoid cert IV, how can i find out how far my knowledge is from whats required, and who can tell me what steps i need to take as far as insurance, registrations, money in the bank... all the legalities. If anyone has any advice that would be greatly appreciated. Cheers the step up is 30mm and wanting it to be flat . how much does the concrete have to be lowered .we plan on removing bath and lenghten shower and adding seat. the old bath… 0 11829 Do I need to concern about this pattern of crack?
