Browse Forums General Discussion  28 Jul 2006 21 Junior Member 1 Aug 22, 2006 7:31 pm the previous owner had extended the rear of the house to open up the dinning (2mtres extention) and some brick piers were build to support the extended area...the piers are just uncemented stacks of bricks.A building inspector said some of the bricks are displace and falling out... he suggested to cement the pier..
i called a bricklayer,and was told its not a big problem...but if the floor move i'd have to lift the floor and rebuild the piers 
wat makes it hard is that the area under the extended floor (where the piers area is so small to work in, so basicly i need to strengthen my piers rite? what do i need to do? great plan external better than directing water behind the bricks 6 2891 Thanks for the tip and great advice.
