Should this ring alarm bells on what the future may be? They said that they have not got anything back from the surveyor and geo reports. Re: tender taking a long time. 5May 25, 2012 2:21 pm Ours was about 5 weeks but they stuffed up a heap in the first tender and we wanted to go to contract stage to received building boost (which ended up getting extended) so they rolled the second tender into contracts. Tender to contracts was the killer for us - approximately 9 weeks. The fastest thing a builder will do is bank your cheque, those systems work perfectly with lightning speed, everything else is slow burn.
