Does it have to be an estate? You are building a new house why not find land in a suburb you want to live in rather than where everyone else is building (no offence guys just trying to broadenm the thought horizion) I would never buy in Lyndhurst (except in the Marriot water estate as it has access out via something other than a freeway) Pakenham and Officer are so far away you need to pack your lunch to get there... ![]() Cranbounre North estates I am not familiar with... Personally I like the Chase estate in Berwick in this bunch. But why not have a look at vacant land in different areas. What area do you live in now? What area do you and your partner work in? Where do you want your family to grow up and in what sort of environment? Is public transport important? These are all things to consider when moving to a shiny new estate... And one more thing, that is also important to some is price!!! What budget do buyers have to be able to afford to buy and build your new home?? Land prices even as far out as Berwick are over $250K.... In Glen Waverley a bargain demolish and rebuild block starts at about $450-$500K!!! So the cost factor can be important too....some buyers will compromise on location to get the house they want. PS. Glad you like The Chase, Matt!!! ![]() ![]() But i think that Andrew has already mentioned that he is building in Narre- Warren South didn't he? Re: Best Land Estate (South East Victoria Only) 5Mar 14, 2008 7:46 am I am biased, because we are building in Marriot waters..... Bayview Rise http://www.bayviewrise.com.au/ and Hide Park (looks VERY nice) http://www.aabglobal.com/Bayswater_Nort ... 34694.html What criteria are you basing it on? appearance, affordability, standard of homes? ![]() Best Land Estate 8Mar 14, 2008 1:15 pm Andrew,
My vote would be for Heritage Springs Pakenham biased as that is where we have purchased land but as its not on your list the best of the rest would be The Chase. Waiting for block Heritage Springs Re: Best Land Estate (South East Victoria Only) 9Mar 14, 2008 1:27 pm Wooo Hooo!!!!
