Due to some complications it now looks as if that won't go ahead. As our first baby is due in 6 months we're thinking of buying a cheaper (than would cost for the build) house for the moment, and if possible hold on to the land (this will be a bit of a stretch cash-wise). My question is this: I spoke to someone recently who suggested that we could engage a builder to build (perhaps 2 town-houses) on our land- he could fund the build and then we could split the profits of the sales. I didn't realise this would be an option- does anybody have any experience/ advice on this? Cheers Hi All, We have recently purchased a sloping block (3.5m fall building envelope, 6m overall).
