We are building in Kellyville Ridge and have just been told by our builder that Sydney water plan, which will be required for release of the council application- was rejected through a quick check agent.
Sydney water have deemed that our proposed dwelling sits within the “zone of influence” of Sydney Waters infrastructure and could potentially affect Sydney Water’s infrastructure.
Unfortunately an approval is required prior to us starting construction as such we are required to go through a Sydney Water co-ordinator to review the drawings and grant approval.
This will be an additional cost of $440.00 (along with the many other 'hidden costs' that seen to be building up'. Has anyone else come across this from Sydney Water. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
