Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 18, 2012 9:39 pm My builder requests a copy of the 88B Instrument. Shall my land vendor provide me this or my solicitor? I already got my land settled. Thank you:) "The subject lot forms part of an unregistered deposited plan and the "Restrictions as to User" clause are not available at this time. This tender is subject to amendments under Section 88B of the Conveyancing Act 1919, the final location of services and the topography of the land can be determined. Upon registration, the client is to supply xxx with a copy of the 88B Instrument prior to the commencement of any works furthermore, any additional requirements in the 88B Instrument above those catered for in this tender will be charged to the client." Re: Regarding 'the 88B Instrument' 2Mar 19, 2012 6:37 pm What state are you in? Each state has its own legislation and there are many differences between them... I'm not familiar with 88B Instruments, so I can't answer your question, unfortunately. Hopefully somebody else will be able to help. If you add a location to your profile, it's easy for other members to see where you're from and it helps to avoid people giving you the wrong advice.
