Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 09, 2012 12:09 pm Hi, we are building with HBC and have a house with a detached garage. We have been advised that we can't place our shoppers door in a certain place as the block slopes slightly and we will need to build a retaining wall and step up. The house level is 10.422 and the garage level is 10.185. I reckon there has to be another solution other than moving the door, I want it left where it is due to future works and it creates better use of the garage space. Does anyone have any suggestions? I need to know what I am talking about cos otherwise they are just going to try to pull the wool over my eyes! Thanks, Jennifer Hi, have purchased a house with 2 single garage doors. The Centre pillar one side sits proud to the other. Can I change 2 doors into one. Please see picture. 0 6335 A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor.
