I went into a bathroom specialist and they quoted 17K which is very expensive for a small bathroom. I was planning on buying everything from Renovation Boys in Camperdown and then getting the builder in? WOW $17K! That certainly sounds like an 'early retirement-fund' price. I'm not in Sydney so I cant help with recommendations, but I suggest before you buy 'everything' you get some quotes as perhaps it may not be possible to install what you wish, or your planned layout may need tweaking by an experienced tradie. It will be easy enough for a plumber and tiler to quote on descriptions/pictures from your wish-list. Tile suppliers usually have a list of preferred plumbers and tilers who deal mainly with renovations. Make sure they are licenced and ask to see previous jobs if you are unsure.
