Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Dec 27, 2011 4:49 pm We're at a point of preparing our house for sale, and currently we have a MASSIVE rumpus room. Sounds good so far ? We've had a couple of opinions that it's current access may make it less suitable. We originally had a 4th bedroom, and the rumpus was to the left of it. We pulled out the adjoining wall and make a very LONG rumpus room. However, the entry door to the rumpus is a lockable off a side corridor from the main living/eating area. We're contemplating knocking an open doorway from the lounge to the rumpus (while retaining the other door) so if parents buy the house they'll be able to see their kids (right now the kids could just lock themselves in there out of sight). So, after confusing your mental image of what I'm trying to describe, what would the general cost be to knock in a doorway to an existing wall ? Take a pick with a level sittingo n the slab and a pick with a level sitting on the sill please. This will help us diagnose the issue and therefore a solution. RE,… 8 9386 Thank you again Simeon.. I will call my certifier for that. Have a good day 4 5179 Thanks for the insights, that makes perfect sense, and yeah, I will be leaning on the experience of the excavator operator entirely. 6 16138 |
