Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 26, 2011 8:17 pm Hi there, We are almost about to finish our frame stage. The builder has installed the sub floor for the upper storey prior to putting the roof. With the recent rains in Melbourne we are concerned if the sub floor will start warping due to the rain water falling and sitting on it. Did anyone else experience the same. Is there a reason for us to be concerned with the possibility of sub floor being efected due to rain. thanks Re: Effect of rain on sub floor 2Nov 28, 2011 8:30 am winner Hi there, We are almost about to finish our frame stage. Re: Effect of rain on sub floor 3Nov 28, 2011 10:18 am yellow tongue flooring is guaranteed for up to 3 months in the rain, if you don't know what yellow tongue is just look at the plastic strip that inter connects the flooring together, it is coloured yellow, also they should be staggered, liquid nailed and nailed using 3 inch framing nails, at least 4 a row.
