Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Oct 18, 2011 11:16 am I would like to put a 1.6m long X 0.6m wooden framed mirror against plasterboard/gyprock what would be the best solution 1) What would be best glue which would stick fast and hold the weight or 2) What fasterners to use Thank you Re: Sticking Wall Mirror to Plasterboard/Gyprock 2Oct 18, 2011 11:22 am I don't think I would be trying to glue it. Can you not screw in some hanging hooks? How much does the mirror weigh? 1.6m x .6m is pretty large and add in the wooden frame would be a couple of kilos wouldn't it? Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Sticking Wall Mirror to Plasterboard/Gyprock 4Oct 18, 2011 12:43 pm Either find a stud to screw a hook onto or use Ramset nylon wallmates and screw a hook into those. Depending on the weight of the mirror you may need to share the load over 2 hooks. If the mirror is only a very light weight mirror (we used to have one we got from Target) then a few strips of quality double sided tape would hold it. You just need to make sure the mirror has a nice flat surface on the back to attach the tape to. If it's heavy go for hooks.
