Basically i have drawn a 4x2 house in Cheif Architectx2, and i want it exactly how it is drawn same measurements etc, i just need someone to do up the plans for council. I have done the 'detailed' plans myself and also the electrical plan, but i couldnt figure out how to put the 'floorplan' of the detailed room (eg bathroom) on the bathroom detail. So i need someone to do it properly with all the council requirements for approval. I only have a maximum $2k budget to get the plans done up. Ideally i would of loved to have done them all myself but i'm not that clever. If anyone knows of anyone that could help me that would be great, i don't need them to provide me with printed copies or anything, just in PDF format. Thanks so much Nicole Hi, I can't help much with recommending a draftsman unless you are from Tasmania But we were in exactly same situation: we drawn the house and all the details ourselves using specialized software, and needed the draftsman only to draw it "right" for the council application using all our measurements etc. At the end we found great draftsman, who did it for only $2k, including land surveying, energy rating assessment, and 8 printed copies. All that for double storey 26sq house. I don't know your location, but I believe if you have same or even smaller size house you can definitely do it under 2k. Good luck! Thank you so much for the effort. We will use it to talk with builder. We also had idea of building duplex instead and seeking suggest ions. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=106744 11 13817 Hello It is good to have a planned bathroom reno to suit your budget and design, living for 10 years I think you need a bathtub 4 10353 Looking to start the journey of becoming an owner builder in SA.
