Hi,
I had visited my house under construction yesterday and found a couple of defects.
I found a little wedge on the bottom of the window sill on the rendered facade. Also the tiler has got it wrong in my ensuite and bathroom. I had signed for glossy porcelain tiles to the walls and matt finish ones to the floor. The tiler has installed matt finish to the entire walls of both the ensuite and bathroom. I reckon, glossy porcelain tiles cost slightly more than the matt finish ones - I can't tell for certain as the contract doesn't give me a price differential. Has anyone been in this situation ? My personal preference would be to get the stuff what I had asked for ? I know it would amount to ripping off the wall tiles and putting in the glossy finish ones. Is the builder liable to compensate me if i didn't get what I had asked for ? Any advise would help.
Thanks
JT
