We live on a busy road in the rear house. We need to put an automated gate or roller door half way down our drive. We currently have gates but they cannot be automated.
Can anyone offer advice or anyone to speak to in Melbourne to get a quote?

Gates ? what to do 2Sep 23, 2011 5:36 pm Don't you think a roller door part way down the drive will look like YUK? Electric gates are very expensive as is getting the power out to them too. We are on a main road in a rear house with two on a block and a long driveway. I dont want to run the risk of having a lazy day where I forget to lock the gate behind me or say I will do it later. The quotes have not been as bad as I expected. $2500 for a roller door or $3500 for a swing gate. Waiting on one more quote and looks like we will go the swing. I agree a roller door does not look the best if the difference had been more than $1k I probably could not afford the swing though waste of time for us having both, living only need one or the other. Bedroom only needs blockouts in our experience. Somfy RTS seems to be the way to go, speak to… 1 4537 |
