How hot does the house get inside ? We are looking at a place interstate on realestate.com.au and it has aircell insulation but has black tiles ? Won't this mean the place gets too hot with the black tiles ? I spend more time being cold than I do hot (8 months vs maybe 2 -3 months of summer heat) so would rather have a warmer house. Have provided more than adequate air flow via windows and sliding doors with mesh, and also ducted evap cooling. We have insulation in roof / internal / external walls. Air conditioning is really only needed for the extremely hot days ie over 30-35 degree days. Some things are worth waiting for.
