I am not liking the tiles that we currently have and am wanting a change. I have porcelain tiles in mind at the moment. Approx 16 squares of our home is made up of tiles. I am wondering if someone can kindly explain to me the process of having the home re-tiled, how long it will take from start to finish? what is involved? approx cost? (I know that depends on the type of tiles I am looking at etc) and any other information that I may need to know. If so, would you want the same tiles in these areas, or different? Are you SURE you want tiles, or would you consider replacing your tiled floors with a different floor-covering?
After your planning and choosing new selections, the process would begin with getting up the old tiles. Big messy job! Get a contractor to do it. If you are buying new tiles, speak to the supplier. They might arrange removing the old tiles as part of the contract, or they may refer you to a contractor. Have fun!

I am planning on having the same tiles in all of the area. Thankyou for your assistance Would be interested as well on costs with rectified tiles through HGWA 1 4321 Looking to tile the facade pillars rather than rendering. Builder is quoting 2500$ laying cost for upto 10msq. The 2 pillars come to be 16msq.
