Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 27, 2011 11:19 am I am faced with the task of renewing my home building insurance and wondered what the approximate costs of replacing a 3 bedroom, double brick house without a garage and just one bathroom that is approx. 170 sqm? The insurance asked me to nominate the amount but I'm not sure of an accurate estimate. They simply pay whatever it costs to rebuild your house exactly the same and takes some of the guess work out of it as building costs are always changing. Other insurance companies may do the same thing if you wanted to follow up with a few.
