As it stands there is no door through to WIR we will just hang a curtain to block the light when one of us is getting dressed an d the other is still sleeping. And not so great but still happy with its functionality is the pantry. Biggest thing for us in this was making sure we could fit the freezer in. Can't give fitted designs as they are still being built. Wardrobes and Kitchen cupboard fitout options... have fun!! Re: WIR and Kitchen pantry 7Aug 23, 2011 9:00 pm Hi Grover http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g36 ... IRplan.png 2400mm x 1410mm the above is our WIR plan - we had it fitted with 4 drawers and 3 shelves to the left of the door and to the right of the door (hers and his). The rest of the short sides is double hanging. The long wall (minus the double hanging widths) is for long/single hanging with two shoe shelves along floor level. We also have a store room between the house and garage, with space for wet or bulky coats or shoes/boots. The WIR is not big but we can both be in there choosing clothes. Cavity sliding door. 2.7m ceiling. We will still have a couple of tallboys in the bedroom. http://i1098.photobucket.com/albums/g36 ... ryplan.png 2190mm x 1150mm I wouldn't want it any smaller. This is our pantry plan - wide enough to turn around in. Cavity sliding door. power point for microwave, toaster, bread maker. The room that the pantry pushes into is my sewing room and I'll have bookshelves along that wall. I've found having items on four walls makes me giddy turning everywhere to find things, 3 walls are good. The shelves at the door are narrow - Weetbix wide; the long shelf is microwave wide - so is the far shelf. I plan to buy tubs/crates on rollers - Officeworks, I think, to put soft drinks, dog food, canned food in at floor level. Hope the links work - haven't used photobucket for a while. Cheers Our shelving was done by Regency - budget line. Basically. If the shelves are fixed then they will be screwed in just the same as the rest of the carcass.
