Hi all
The block we have chosen is in a new estate but is completely uncleared (they cleared only the blocks that required filling and because ours is a battleaxe (but only with 1 neighbour either side at the front along the driveway and guarenteed bushland/conservation at the back where our house and gardens will be) they only cleared and filled in the area on the driveway before laying the concrete drive....
Now this block has about a 2.5m slope going up from front to back and maybe 1.2m across the block - however it is a 1100sq block so across the building envelope it is only 1.5m and 0.9m (so its not difficult top build on at all)
Anyway it is covered in trees, big (HUGE!) beautiful fully grown gum (and other native) trees and plenty of medium and small saplings - not to mention bushes, shrubs, fallen logs - usual stuff you see in the bush etc .... I'd estimate 50 or so across the whole block (such a shame to have to tear them down - but there is more on the other side of the fenceline and we will be replanting plenty of flowering natives for birds & critters)
So we need to get the place cleared and everywhere within the building envelope and 3m on all sides has to go once the plans are approved by council ...
So I'm just trying to get my head around what this might cost? - anyone have any idea of a ballpark figure for something like this?
Thanks all
Fiona
